Lockdown 3

As we all know, 2020 was a tough year. With two lockdowns plus the tiered restrictions, it seems like only yesterday we were posting about lockdown 2.

Shortly after publishing our Lockdown 2 blog, the country started to slowly open up for a brief period, until a week or two before the Christmas holidays where London had entered tier 4 that continued until New Years' Eve. This lead to the cancellation of many family plans and the worry of job security throughout the Christmas period and the new year. Now we're in the UK's third lockdown with the restrictions implemented for the next few months.

With the stress of the schools staying closed, working from home, and worrying about current employment, these factors can have a huge effect on mental health and addiction.

Rehab 4 Addiction has kindly reached out to us and serve as an online resource to individuals and families dealing with substance abuse. Their hope is that this resource can be one of many stepping stones for those struggling and their loved ones to better understand their situation and lead them to find a safe and supportive environment, especially during the pandemic.

If you have a friend or loved one dealing with these issue's you can find more information here.

We have also reposted other sites to help with loneliness and mental health.

Like much of the UK, we're hoping that 2020 wasn't just the teaser for 2021 and that come to the end of March, the country will start to slowly open up again. We hope that everyone has a much better and brighter year.

Stay Safe!
